Family

I'm so blessed to live in Provo right now. How many people get the opportunity to live so close to their family? And really, it doesn't get much closer than the situation I'm in! (Not comfortably, anyway!) Yesterday I went on a walk with my mom, administered the Color Code Test to my brothers and parents, and just spent a lot of time with my family. I loved it! Today I got to do this:Yep, my little brother is now officially an Eagle Scout! As I was looking at this picture, I noticed a few things. First of all, my "little" brothers are both taller than me, and I was wearing 3-inch heels tonight. Not sure I love that. Secondly, I realized how sad I was that neither of my older siblings or their families were here to celebrate with us. I realized that I am so so blessed to be so close to my family and have the opportunity to spend time with them. I'm especially grateful to spend time with my *baby* brothers before they get too grown up and get married and move who knows where.

And speaking of family, I couldn't help but get a picture of myself with my mom and grandma:Seriously, you don't have to wonder where I came from, right? Look at all those knobby cheeks! I love that we look so much alike! It's like I get a glimpse of myself at different ages :)

  1. I wish we could have been there, too. Had I known about it before Friday night, it might have been a possibility. :( I am glad it went well!
