Remember before I went to California how I told you I had something super fun in mind? Well... the time has arrived. I'm going to do a little series called 30 hairstyles in 30 days! I got the idea from THIS article. Only, looking through those pictures, the snotty cosmetologist voice in my head said, "Psh... most of those are strangely similar... putting a hat on doesn't make it a new hairstyle!!! Clearly, I can do better than that!" Well friends, I'm here to give it a whirl and see if I'm as creative as that little snotty voice in my head thinks I am! Here's the deal: Every day I will style my hair differently and take pictures (and maybe even videos sometimes if you'd like) and post about the style of the day. The real, main reason for doing this is that I'm in a SERIOUS hair rut, people! My hair is getting pretty long, and I've literally been pulling it up in a messy bun at least 4 times a week. I know I can't be the only person out there in a hair rut, so really, this will help you all find some cute new ideas too! While I'm sure not every person will be able to use every style I post (cause, hello, we all have different hair lengths/texture/thickness/etc.) there should be enough variety that everyone can find something they can use.
Now here's where it gets even MORE fun! Remember how I said you'd want to be a follower of my blog? Here's why: I'm going to be doing some sweet giveaways, which will include things like professional hair products, hair accessories, etc.
DOUBLE OR NOTHING: This is the name of my first giveaway. See that little section in the right sidebar that shows my followers? Well, today that shows I have 16. In order to get to the first giveaway, we're going to need to double that number. As soon as we reach 32 followers, I'll explain how to win the giveaway. SO... start sharing with your friends, family, Facebook wall, etc. I'd really love to send some sweet hair stuff your way!!!
p.s. Be on the lookout for the first hairstyle tomorrow :)
this is such a great idea! i definitely seem to always do the same thing with my hair, so I'm looking forward to tips and ideas!
