Nothing says "summer dress" quite like a big floral print and a bow on the back! I love it!!! I didn't have a pattern, and I won't use a pattern for my other dresses either. I'm more of a "throw it and see if it sticks" kinda girl. It took a little over an hour to make and paid a total of $2.25 for it. SUCCESS!!!

SUCCESS!!! (Summer Dress #1)
Today I decided I was going to try my hand at making some dresses for summer. I love wearing dresses in the summer, and last week when I was shopping for an Easter dress I was having the hardest time finding anything I liked. Plus, almost everything I saw was a.) too short, and b.) expensive. (Yeah I'm aware I'm a cheapskate. I've accepted this.) So today I went to good old Wal-Mart in Lindon. They had a LOT of clearance fabric. I got enough for [more than] three dresses for a total of $9.75. Tonight I made the first of the three. Here's the result:
