Then I started thinking of my babies.
Not the ones that are going to be mine someday, the ones that I consider to be mine now. Blaine, Bekah, Cougar, Sarah, Ty and McKay. They've been my babies since the moment they were born. It makes no difference that I didn't give birth to them, and that I'm not their mom. They're still my babies, and always will be! Today, I wanted to post some pictures of my babies, so you can all see how adorable they and how lucky I am! I love them with all my heart!!!

I would like to let you know that now more than ever I realize how lucky those of us who have children are to have people like you in our lives. The kind of women who we can hand our children over to and not worry if they are being taken care of properly (because we know they are) and not have to worry if our kids are "overstaying their welcome" because we know you are enjoying them as much as they are enjoying you. We need a break from time to time and we are glad there are people like you there so we can have one (it's important to help us maintain our sanity).
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are so cute by the way.
That's very sweet. I'm happy to share with you!!
ReplyDeleteIn Relief Society today, we talked about having a "Mother Heart" (from a talk from Sis. Beck). I thought about you a lot. You have a mother heart, even though you have never given birth to a child of your own. My children are lucky to have you for an aunt, and I am lucky to have you for a sister!
